Bishop Wilbert D. Davis

About Pastor Davis

Bishop Wilbert Darrell Davis was born on December 23, 1969, in Raleigh, North Carolina. He received his early education in the public school systems of Wake County and Union County. He pursued higher education at LockYear College, where he studied Business Management, and at Heritage Bible College in Dunn, North Carolina, where he focused on Christian Education. In 2024, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Faith in Action Bible College.

Bishop Davis is married to Loretta Davis and is a devoted father to their six children: daughters Janae Michelle and Alexis Sharell, and sons Donta, Devonta, DeAndre, and Christopher. He is passionate about mentoring young boys and served as a coach and board member for the Coaches In Christ (CIC) AAU Basketball Team, where he helped shape them into responsible young men grounded in faith.

Under the mentorship of the Late Bishop William S. Spain, founder of The Glorious Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the International Council of Pentecostal Ministries (ICOPM), Bishop Davis served as Chief Adjutant at The Glorious Church. He later became the Adjutant General of the ICOPM and served as Youth Pastor at the local assembly. He was later elevated to the position of Overseer of Missions within the ICOPM fellowship. Bishop Davis is deeply committed to evangelism and has a fervent desire to see souls brought into the Kingdom.

In 2004, Bishop Davis established Wholeness in Christ Fellowship Church, where he served as Senior Pastor for 16 years. During this period, he had the honor of being mentored by the late Bishop Frank Summerfield and the late Pastor Jo Nell Summerfield of Word of God Fellowship Church. Both he and his wife, Loretta, were deeply influenced by the Summerfield’s marriage ministry and marketplace ministry, benefiting from their guidance and wisdom.

Bishop Davis was consecrated the Bishopric August 2023 by Chief Consecrator, D. Myles Golphin of the Global Conference of Bishops.

Since August 2020, Bishop Davis has served as the Senior Pastor of The Glorious Church of Raleigh. Under his leadership, Wholeness in Christ Fellowship has grown into Wholeness in Christ Fellowship of Churches, offering spiritual covering for various ministries. His favorite scripture, Ecclesiastes 9:11, reflects his belief in divine timing: "I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet favor to men of skill, but time and chance happeneth to them all."
